The One Thing You Can’t Evolve Without
Look, I meditate. I journal every morning with my cacao, do breathwork, and even contemplate who I am. You could say I’ve got my personal growth routine locked in. But here’s the thing, none of that really matters if I don’t have the right people around me. Community isn’t just a buzzword we throw around in wellness circles. It’s what keeps me grounded, and connected, provides that mirror and, let’s be honest, sane.
I’m part of a few different communities. Each one gives me something unique, and together they shape who I am.
There’s my Vedic meditation crew at Prema Meditation, people who understand that inner stillness. We dive deep, and they remind me that silence can be the most powerful tool in a noisy world. Then there’s my Master Breathwork trainer tribe. We all trained with the beautiful soul Johannes at Breathless. These are the folks who, like me, use breath as a way to heal, connect, and release. It’s raw and emotional, and we all show up, as facilitators, vulnerable and real.
Let’s not forget the men at Rising Kings. These guys are committed to being better husbands, better fathers, and better men overall. We hold each other accountable, push each other to show up in life and relationships, and when things get tough, we lift each other up.
And, of course, my CrossFit community. Strong bodies, stronger minds, and an incredible support system. We grunt, sweat, and sometimes curse through the workouts, but the camaraderie is unmatched. We’re there for each other, not just for PRs and high-fives, but for life.
Oh, and the Burners. These are the people I meet at Burning Man, a group that thrives on creativity, radical expression, and a bit of chaos. It’s freeing, inspiring, and downright fun. Every year we reconnect, shedding the layers we built up in the “real world.”
All these communities make me who I am today. They remind me that I’m not alone, that I’m seen, heard, and valued. When I’m down, they lift me. When I’m on a high, I do the same for them. It’s a cycle of giving and receiving, and it’s what keeps us all human.
But beyond what these communities give me, they showed me the importance of creating my own. That’s how We Evolv3 was born. A space where we come together, feel calm in the chaos, alive in the mundane, and free from the ego that holds us back.
We Evolv3 is about being calm in the craziness of everyday life. It’s about being fully alive, not just existing but experiencing the joy, pain, and growth. And it’s about being free, free from limiting beliefs, and free to be exactly who you are.
You can do the inner work all you want, but without community, it’s like building a house without a foundation. We need people. We need connection. And we need reminders that in this messy, beautiful life, we’re all in it together.
If this resonates with you, I’m inviting beautiful humans and beautiful souls to join the Evolv3 family. Let’s grow, connect, and evolve together. Because the journey’s better when we’re all lifting each other up. You in?
